NITECORE Concept 1 Flashlight

NITECORE is continuing to push the boundaries with the NITECORE Concept 1, the first release in the new Concept Series. Featuring a premium CREE XHP35 HD E2 LED for a super bright 1800 lumens max output, the C1 is easily the top of its size class. A conveniently located single side switch control lets users adjust through 5 brightness settings and two selectable operating modes give a choice between direct access to Turbo or Strobe.

Operating on 1x IMR18650 battery (recommended) or 2x CR123A batteries, the C1 offers up to 300 hours of runtime on low and up to 30 minutes on Turbo. The compact 4.39" body tube weighs under 3 ounces without a battery making this flashlight perfect for everyday carry, travel and emergency backup.

Battery Note

The Concept 1 supports multiple battery options including button top & flat top IMR 18650 batteries. For optimal performance and to enable the full 1800 lumen output, we recommend using the NITECORE NL1835HP battery provided in the drop down option above (or here) which has a built-in protection circuit and an 8A output. The light will shut off at the maximum setting when using 2xCR123A or an 18650 battery with lower than 8A output.

Whole lotta light in a little package. September 10, 2017

Although I have just received my new concept one flashlight and I am still trying to figure it out. From what I have already seen this is some flashlight.  It's a whole Lotta light in a little package.  Used it at night once so far and it lit up my whole street. Although it does get very hot on the turbo 1800 mode.  I think it is better to use it on the lower modes and click up to 1800 as needed.

Concept c1 September 6, 2017

Not impressed with the flashlight.  Size is a huge bonus.  But I don't believe 1800 lumens is correct. Seems just as bright as my EA41 with less of a beam distance.  Magnet is barely strong enough to hold the flashlight horizontally.  Any vibration and it falls. But again.  For the size nothing compares to brightness that I've seen. Also I noticed with a fullly charged battery.  The light will begin to flicker after a few mins of use on the 3rd brightness level of the 5

Whoa! Super bright, and more importantly small/compact, easy to lug around. Possibly the biggest bang for the buck. Easily surpasses my Convoy S2+.

The first thing I  noticed about my Concept 1 was how well it was built. Then when I used it on the job it gave me the perfect amount of light wen I needed it.
