The NiteCore EF1 flashlight is incredibly safe and certified with ATEX EX II 2 G Ex d IIC T6 Gb, i.e. Nitecore EF1 is safe to operate in the presence of class 1 group A (Acetylene), B (hydrogen), C (Ethylene) and D (Propane) gases! This blinding 830 lumen light was made to be the perfect companion for hazardous work such as land and marine petroleum exploitation and chemical industries. Slice through darkness with 295 yards worth of beam throw. Power your light conveniently with just one rechargeable 18650 battery. Perhaps the greatest feature of the EF1 is its extremely user-friendly functionality. A sliding on/off switch allows the user to select one of three brightness outputs rapidly and easily using one finger.

Durable, compact, and bright (when you want it to be). The 18650 means you dont have to charge it nearly as often as you would if it took AAs, which is significant given the purpose of this particular flashlight. Followup customer support questions were answered with expertise. I will suggest this flashlight to others who need this type of flashlight.
