Nitecore HC33 December 31, 2023 Reviewer: Matt Miller from Wasilla, AK United States   I'm disappointed it didn't come w/ a battery, apparently there's some fine print I missed when I ordered. I just happened to add a battery to my order for a spare. Headlamp works great, good battery life on that "spare" I ordered. Bonus it works w/ my other brands of 18650 batteries unlike some other brands. Was this review helpful to you?

Not as good as the HC30 May 2, 2023 Reviewer: Donald Meier from Butternut, WI United States   For some reason it will not work with fresh charged 34 or 35 hundred nitecore batteries . Shuts down immediately ? Put another in and works sometimes ? Was this review helpful to you?

HC33 review doesn't have built in charger February 5, 2022 Reviewer: Larry D Webb from Iowa   I didn't like the way mine was designed and so over time I tore it down and rebuilt. The way it comes I had to take the battery out every time I wanted to charge which was every day given that I use it at least a hour a day. I bought a Rigid headband from Mills Fleetfarm that is intended to be for welding helmets. I built my new headlamp on the Fleetfarm headband. I glued the Nitecore battery into the Nitecore charger and then mounted the charger to the side of the Rigid headband , had to solder wires and build a positive post coming out of the led light section , what a pita but in the end I ended up with a nice headlamp system that I can now simply plug in just like you would a cell phone. Since rebuilding i no longer have to remove the battery every time I want to charge I don't recommend buying the HC33 unless Nitecore redesigns it. Was this review helpful to you?

Most used item I own January 10, 2022 Reviewer: Dustin Evans from Salt Lake City, UT United States   I use my HC33 headlamp just about every single night. I own a lot of tools and I don’t use any of them as much as I do this headlamp. It’s the second Nitecore headlamp I own and I can honestly say that they have both been amazing. The battery life is good, lasting me 3-4 days each. The Lowest light setting is very useful if you just need a tiny bit of light. The couple settings in between are low and Turbo are the most useful and where 99% of my usage is. Turbo mode is insanely bright.   When you do want to light up EVERYTHING Turbo mode will do it with ease   You cannot go wrong when you purchase a Nitecore product.      I also own and use 2 Nitecore chargers daily which I also love. I always have multiple fresh batteries ready to go.   Thanks Nitecore for building such great products. Was this review helpful to you?

back-up, not the primary November 18, 2021 Reviewer: Sean FlSeaSeanherty from RutlaMnd, MA United States   I wanted a headlamp without wires, and this  meets that expectation.  The light is bright, the modes are solid. My issues are that there is no built in charging port. I remove the battery and have to plug it into another charger, or pay extra. I paid extra for the higher quality battery. On one walk, I was unable to get the light to fully cycle through brightness levels, it only would work on the low and 2nd level. Suffice to say, it is now a backup instead of a primary.
