5 of 5 Nice Pocket Lantern February 3, 2024

Awesome little pocket lantern! There are loads of diffusers out there to convert flashlights into lanterns. But this is the most elegant option that I've found. Lights up a patio or bar table at night quite well. Or keep it in your vehicle and use it as a work or signaling light. Also can work as a small floodlight in a pinch. Very versatile! The CRI is a bit more of a neutral white than warm white. Wish it had 14500 support and a lower "moonlight" mode. (Maybe for a V2 release!)

5 of 5 Excellent lantern/ ambient light. August 12, 2023

This is an excellent lantern. Cool design and great light output. I prefer this high CRI version over the 135 lumen non-HCRI rendition.

5 of 5 LA10 CRI March 21, 2018

After looking at many lights that turn into lanterns, I chose the nite core. This light is small it uses only one AA battery, it''s as bright  or brighter than other lights much bigger than this little wonder. It''s all aluminum construction. The only plastic is well hidden from damage inside the aluminum housing. Besides having 3 bright settings, it has a beacon that rivals the old gas filled strobes I used in the past from Radio Shack. And a very strong magnet that''s not even exposed to the elements either, because those neodymium magnets can shatter their chrome coating and they start to disintegrate fast, so having it inside the housing was a great idea. This little mighty light is awesome. I'm totally head over heels with it. Very well engineered. I'm glad I looked around before making my decision. I chose well with nite core. I'm thinking of getting the LA10 next. Also, the price is very affordable. Thank you for such a magnificent product.

5 of 5 Little wonder light June 29, 2017
Reviewer: Luis Palacio from Coral Gables, FL United States
I purchased the LA10 130 lumens Lantern a few month ago, and last week I bought the LA10 CRI with an output of 85 lumens, because I liked the new Red or blue case.  Although I like getting as high a lumen output as I can, I have found both the LA10 and the LA10 CRI, to be wonderful lights when in a dark environment.  They are practical to carry because of their minute size, yet they will provide enough light to do what you need to do.

I highly recommend these lights to anyone planning to be in an area where proper lightning is not readily available. Camping trips, Power outtages, etc.  They are wonder lanterns that are now available in attractive colors.  Hats off to Nitecore

4 of 5 Like the form factor March 22, 2017

Pros:
Compact size, the lipstick function is really good.

Cons:
AA battery size is poor - would like to see the lamp scaled up to 18650 size.
Needs a tail switch.
