Too smooth, no switch December 20, 2021 Reviewer: ScottTheSculptor from Wenatchee, WA United States   So this thing is only waterproof when it is on. You have to break the seal to turn it off. The barrel os super smooth. Why? So that it is more difficult to twist the lamp part out? The thing that you have to hang onto to twist either the super smooth barrel or the tailcap/switch is small, has no switch on it and not much better a grip than the super smooth barrel. Fail. Camping and Hurricanes April 6, 2021 Reviewer: LUIS PALACIO from Coral Gables   The Nitecore LR12 Lantern Flashlight, meets the expectations of the most demanding flashlightcoholic. It will serve you well at a camping site, as it will during outages due to stormy weather.  I am so impressed with the versatility of this lantern, that this one is the second one I bought.  Light when you need it. Finally, what I've been looking for... December 8, 2019 Reviewer: Ross Murasaki from Honolulu, HI United States   Part of my use of my flashlights is for walking at night, not only to light the path, but to also make myself visible to cars on the road.  I have purchased separate cones to attach to the tip of the flashlight to illuminate so that cars would see the light quicker. Part of my frustration with my other flashlights was that if I were carrying it in my pocket, the cone would separate from the flashlight and I'd have to reattach it when ready for use.  I was immediately drawn to this flashlight when I stumbled upon it.  I really like the fact that this flashlight has the "cone" it built-in! Number one on my use list. June 4, 2019 Reviewer: Stanley Johnson from Salt Lake City, UT United States   I love this 2-in-1 lantern flashlight design. It is several times smaller, lasts longer, and is brighter than all my dedicated lanterns. In flashlight mode 1000 lumens in your hand with handle most immediate jobs.
