Handy, small, and bright. September 30, 2017 Reviewer: KB from AZ United States   Purchased this for non-headlamp usage, but it would serve well in that role too for emergency lighting.  Currently have it attached to my backpack as this seems most useful for me.  Perfectly simple to use and charge.  Brighter than I expected for both red and white modes.  While researching this light I guess I missed the teeny tiny LED that serves both as a system indicator and as the first level output.  Useful if you need a way to find your gear in darkness.  Nitecore Store was great as usual.  Would buy again. Good light, with some limitations July 22, 2017 Reviewer: Anonymous from Palm Springs, CA United States   Initially I didn't like this light, but now I do.  That's because my expectations were too high in the beginning.  This is a good light if you want to use it as a signalling red light.  I use it at night on the rear of my backpack for 20 minute bicycle journey.  When I do that I only have to recharge maybe once a week.  I only recommend using the white light for short duration, for example 10 minutes to make your way around camp, otherwise you'll find yourself having to recharge the light often.  One thing this light needs is a continuous RED mode, but instead the red light only has blinking modes Was this review helpful to you?

Nu05 July 11, 2017 Reviewer: Francis Ledbetter from New Berlin, IL United States   Great light, only problem I have is that it flashes for red. Would have been worth every penny if it stopped and stayed red for map reading in the dark to preserve night vision. I am ex military and sell lots of your products.
