Safe and the sound September 19, 2020 Reviewer: Charles Brooks from West seneca, upstate NYNY United States   I think this is a very unique item for my nitecore collection. I have several serious medical issues, but love the outdoors. I can feel more secure while enjoying my hikes with this item. When activated  it can help locate me if Ever the need arises. Great for kids and pets as well, anything that gives you an edge in the outdoors is a plus in my book. Sound and pulsing sound narrows your location down. Keep up the great work NITECORE.
