NITECORE NU25 400 Lumens Ultralight Rechargeable Headlamp

This is a well thought out designed headlight. Very light weight, Comfortable adjustable band, More than enough lumens for my mechanical and technical needs. I am very impressed with this light but withheld the 5th Star until it passes the longevity time of ownership.

This will serve me very well on the Pacific Crest Trail.

The headband we received had a flaw. After a quick call explaining the problem and sending pictures showing the problem we received a new head band in the mail a few days later.

Lightweight, bright, and holds a good charge. I use for running and working in low light spaces.

I got this headlamp for around the campsite. So far it has been excellent. I like the unique strap that it has, it holds good and hasn’t loosened on me yet. The only issue I have had with the light is the ui. Several times I have locked out the light trying to get to the instant red light. I feel like that more on me and not the light. All in all I would say it one of the top out there in the $30-$40 price range.

Excellent, works well. Very functional, bright. Comfortable. I would buy again, and I would recommend. I use mine for electronics repair. Frees up both hands.

This is multi use headlamp...I can go jogging early in the morning while is till dark, work around the house as a handyman, emergency light if I get a flat tire at night.
And is really portable, doesn't take much space, headband is so light.

Very light weight. Have had it out for a two-night trip in the rain and it performed perfectly. Plenty of charge left after two nights. I won't be going back to non-rechargable headlamps. In spite of the directions, it takes a while to figure out all the button combinations that produce different lighting options. That's just a matter of practice. If it holds up, I'll definitely buy one again.

I wanted a second NiteCore headlamp to keep in the car. This will be very effective, yet it's small enough to store in the glove compartment.

Just what I wanted. Better than expected. Very comfortable to work with.

I was disapointed when I saw I couldn't get the original model. If it's not broke, don't fix it was my first thoughts. But after using the new model for over a week, I'm beginning to like it, sometimes you just have to try change to enjoy change.

I had to bend a band clamp to get it to fasten - no problem. Great lightweight lamp with intuitive buttons. I really like a separate button for red light on/off! USB-C charging is also a plus.

I can't provide an honest review yes since I haven't used it. I can say it is much lighter than my BD Storm and seems to be easier to scroll through the settings. It will be plenty bright for early morning or night hiking but that time is a few months away.

I don’t know why I waited so long to purchase this headlamp as I am now able to easily walk my dog at night hands free without holding a flashlight. However, the big advantage is that this is the newer version. The headband is extremely comfortable and the adjustments to your size are flawless. Additionally the dual LED lights are sufficiently bright in all three settings with the combined spot and floodlights. The accessibility of the power indicator lights completely removes the guess work as to when you need to recharge the battery. The USB-C charging capability makes it a definite advantageous as well.

The NU 25 is a good very light headlamp with a lot of lighting options.

I’m a flashlight junkie, When I found nitecore it was like “these guys get the obsession “ lights, batteries, gadgets, and hilarious videos. This is my 3rd light from them and it exceeded my expectations. Light weight: all my other headlamps use AAA batteries,
The nu25 is half the weight of my Black Diamond equivalent.
Battery life: I was out repairing equipment the other night and I didn’t realize I had both beams on high for over an hour. Convenient battery gauge showed full charge after running it like that. My other headlamps would have been at 2/3 easily.
Comfortable: details in the headband, high quality materials, very easy to adjust.
Beam spread: light choice makes choosing your beam spread easy and it throws plenty of light down. Critical for me is the option for the red light as well.
Con: my only wish would be the ability to dim it further on any setting.

Absolutely love the headlamps. They are super easy to use, very adjustable for lighting, and really light for backpacking.

It worked reliably from dusk to dawn. After 10 minutes of testing out the buttons and light modes (the included instructions are excellent) I was ready to hit the trails.
I found myself often using the floodlight on low (60 lumen) and it was sufficient for all but the most technical trail sections
This is my first Nitecore headlamp, so I can't speak to the previous model but I love the USB-C charging. I was pleasantly surprised with the hybrid headband - very comfortable, great grip, and quick adjustments are possible without taking it off.

Delivers brilliant beam of light with adjustable intensity

I pulled the trigger after the newest version was released. I must say this is an outstanding product. And the new upgrades make it even better. I’ve tested it out on several overnight hikes and have no doubt it will serve me well on the PCT next year.
