I have a small collection of different brands of LED lights. I selected the EA42 as my next purchase because of its larger size and use of AA batteries.

The size of the light makes it easier for me to hold while walking my dog - it doesn't get lost in my gloved hand. The light is relatively light and offers a good choice of brightness levels. The battery power indicator is a great feature. I also like its "throw".

On the negative side, the mode and power buttons are small and not really glove friendly. I have found reinstalling the battery chamber to the head of the light to be somewhat "fiddly". Finally, the light does have a plastic feel to it and I wonder about its long term durability.
