5 of 5 Great light May 11, 2021

Durable and plenty of light for welding helmet. But too heavy with total NVG bracket and mounting system on welding helmet. Makes it nose heavy. But light will work good with headband strap bracket and 3m dual lock extreme better. It’ll be lighter and still hang on great. My hopes are for nitecore and optrel to team up and design a crystal model welding helmet with a nightcore 3 phase light. Medium, Bright and Turbo 1000LU. This will eliminate the need to try and hook loop strap it. And make the body out of a light material like carbon fiber. Let’s see if that actually happens.

I’m gonna use this light for the times I get caught out in the woods after dark. The different beam settings will be awesome an being rechargeable is a plus.
Good price. Shipping could be quicker but all in all excellent product.

4 of 5 Nitecore light Nitecore HC60Mfor NVG mount November 9, 2020
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Wyoming
The light is very bright. It is light weight. Fits the NVG mount on my Legacy level 3a helmet well enough with a slight amount of play.
I did encounter 1 issue that i resolved myself.
If the battery compartment cap is not screwed on tight.. i mean gorilla tight, the light will not work or charge properly.
You'll get the fast faint blue blinky light.
I took the whole light apart before tracing it down to simply not having that battery cap screwed down tight.
Having taken it apart, it seems well made. Comes with spare gaskets to seal the electronics which is what gave me the idea to just open it up and find the issue rather than send it back.
I have not tested it in rain or cold yet.
So far just using it around the property either affixed to the helmet or just as a hand held task light.
I have no plans to add NVG's to my helmet so placing a light in that mount made sense to me.
It might be the brightest light i own at this point.
Comes in at 4 ounces on my scale.
