4 of 5 Good headlamps from nitecore September 22, 2020
Reviewer: Gabriel from Texas
I am an aircraft technician and work during the night, so a good headlamp is a very important tool for me, I own 4 NU20 headlamps and decided to buy the NU10 during the last sale nitecore had. The NU10 is a good headlamp, a little heavier and bigger than the NU20 but still good size. The only reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5 star is because the two switched on the top feels cheap with the rubber cove, the NU20 switches are hard plastic and feels better when clicking them.

3 of 5 Good light, Bad bracket December 15, 2019
Reviewer: Juan from LOS ANGELES, CA USA
The light output and charge-ability are great. But the brackets are either poorly designed or a bad plastic. Had a NU30 before buying the NU10 on 05-2018, the bracket had broken on the NU30, the tilt position plastic broke off after a couple of uses so the light only pointed down. I was looking for replacement brackets but it didn't exist.Eventually it showed up here and I ordered 2 for the NU30 and an extra for the NU10
11-2019: while working with just the headlamp as a light source, I moved the tilt to see where I was walking. A whole corner piece broke off,the light body just stayed in my hand detached from the headband.
I had a feeling it was going to happen, but I thought from dropping it...not normal use.
This and the NU30 have great light output and each has its use cases (flood vs spot lighting) But the bracket is horrible.Unless you plan to use the light in a fixed flat against your head position, which everyone won't, these brackets will break.

5 of 5 Perfect for snow blowing/ shoveling. March 9, 2019
Reviewer: Matt V from Neenah Wi
I use it for snow blowing and shoveling. Great super light weight comfortable. The wide angle flood type throw is perfect compared to most lamps that are a spot light narrow long throw. I remove snow at night in the city and you don't have to worry about it shining in people's windows at night when you look around. The 35 lumen setting is pretty sufficient most of the time. I also used it for some plumbing repairs in my basement. Battery lasts long when not in use sat for almost 2 months outside in my truck in winter and still full charge.

5 of 5 Best beam pattern for most needs. February 5, 2017
Reviewer: JC from Western OR
These wide beam pattern lights are very useful. First thing I noticed is that you do not have to have your head aimed just right, in order to see. This would make an excellent lamp for home repair, as you can see more. I read my Kindle at night with it, on medium, and it works better than all my more expensive lamps. I've also noticed walking the dog at night, that both of us can see, without having to alternate aiming the lamp in front of each of us. I'm glad I bought this NU10, as I have plenty of other lamps that throw a typical more narrow beam.
