TIP Anniversary Edition September 5, 2018 Reviewer: Anonymous Person   The TIP would get five stars if 1) the micro USB port had a cover, and 2) the buttons had raised sides so as to lessen the chance of accidental activation.  In re: the Anniversary Edition.  I purchased these to keep on hand as gifts, NOT knowing that the box and instructions are noticeably marked "2017."  "Anniversary Edition" is fine, but the 2017 year dates the light, making it unsuitable for gift-giving in 2018 and beyond.  By comparison, the "generic" 2015 and 2016 models seem more current.  BTW, LOSE the clip.  It is so INconvenient.  No need for a clip or lockout feature if you would just recess the buttons, or add raised sides. Nitecore Tip USB rechargeable Keychain light July 25, 2018 Reviewer: PhillipPhillipPhillip Jon from BurnsvilBule, NC United States   The Nittecore Tip is habit forming. I have it on my keys chain, so whether at work or at home, I have a strong bright light at hand. This light illuminates the woods when I walk my dog in the mountains before dawn and after dark.  My clothes closets are dark so I look for clothing and colors using my Tip. The basement is also dark with dim light so when looking for a tool, the Tip is in my hand. USB rechargeable means I can use it all the time without worry about expensive batteries, as well as eco friendly w/out tossing used batteries in the garbage. The Tip is small and weightless in the hand and can be carried w/out fatigue. In short, it is the perfect light, with 4 power modes, recharges on my computer, and strong enough light for 99% of my current and future flashlight needs.
