5 of 5 Excellent! September 30, 2021

This is an extremely light very loud whistle. Put a lanyard on it and wear it around your neck or on a keychain.

5 of 5 Light, compact and loud November 26, 2020
Reviewer: wicc from Vancouver, WAer, WA United States
I ordered this whistle to put in an emergency kit along with a new torch that I keep in my car and I'm sure glad I did.  It's not only cool looking, but it feels cool too. Since it's light, compact and loud it would be perfect for a keychain, as a zipper pull or attached to any EDC item for quick access if needed.  IMO you won't be disappointed

4 of 5 Requires a little effort May 4, 2020
Reviewer: Felix Cayetuna from Rosedale, MD United States
I noticed that it requires a little more effort blowing to make noise than your typical small whistle. It comes all metal including the inner mechanism. It is piercing in terms of sound compared to a small aluminum whistle that I have. It looks good on my key chain though. Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase.

3 of 5 NWS10 Whistle April 12, 2019
Reviewer: RandallH from Golden Colorado
I just received my copy. The pitch is really high. A lower frequency would carry sound further. Compared it to my Vargo Ti Whitle, which is louder. I do like the solid one piece build of the body of the NWS10. The Vargo is not one piece which could be a failure point. I plan on using on 550 paracord around my neck with fire rod, compass, Photon micro LED and tweezers. Not sure which whistle I will use, NWS does not seem loud enough and to high of pitch to carry sound but is a solid build

4 of 5 Used it on the bear ... still kinda soft to me August 6, 2017
Reviewer: Stanley Yee from San Francisco, CA United States
It was useful when I was doing a solo on the beginning legs of the backpacking.
It did kinda deter a cub from my 2nd campsite ... the mother bear was nearby ...
It kinda sounded soft ... compared to the STORM whistle (Bulky). I might op out for the double chamber one.
