NU43 Review, Comments January 14, 2023 Reviewer: Zadok from Raleigh   I bought this to use as a general purpose headlamp and for a high-performance light (bright + long battery life) for short-distance backpacking (not high MPD). I have other lights for road running, UL b-packing.) WHAT I LIKE: - Nice headband, improved. - Is light weight for a 16650. - Very intuitive controls. - Red light is plenty bright for inside tent or around camp. - The light is super powerful, very bright, and super nice beam spread with dual LEDs. Best combo of throw + spread I've ever seen. You can see way ahead of you while still clearly seeing your feet. WHAT COULD BE IMPROVED.. - Replaceable battery, if only for sales purposes. - I'd strengthen the ratcheting tilt feature by about 3x. It's okay as-is, but just too easy to change. I'll leave it in one place and never move it. Summary: If you could only have one, this would be it. Was this review helpful to you?
