5 of 5 No Surprises September 16, 2017

I did a fair amount of research into this and other flashlights, and eventually settled on this one because of its array of functions. After the amount of research I had done, I already had the modes order memorized, and the size measured out so I could visualize it. So I wasn't surprised by the size, nor did I have issues learning where each mode was.The flashlight is very well built and sturdy, and the brightness is actually brighter than I had expected. I'm definitely a fan, and I expect I'll be buying from Nitecore again in the future.

brighter but for some reason it seems to make a smaller center spot.  The previous one has a fuzzy center spot which seems to light the area better but this may be an illusion as the GT emits a brighter seemly more clearly defined spot.  The light is better in higher modes .

4 of 5 SUPER Bright July 11, 2017
Reviewer: Valdis from Seattle, WA United States
Wow! I am truly impressed with the throw of this light, especially for how small it is.
A note for future buyers: the Standby mode only draws power while the light is switched on. I know that's probably obvious to most, but it was a little vague for me in the description.

My only complaints are the flashing blue & red "Police Warning" setting. It feels like a silly choice that might be helpful for law enforcement, but unlikely. And the bezel is fixed, so there's no option to install a PVD aggressive  granulated bezel that was available on the SRT7.

5 of 5 Great product May 17, 2017
Reviewer: Nickolas Avram from San Diego, CA United States
At first I was just looking for a black light flashlight and there are many inexpensive ones at various hardware stores. But with all the features of this unit it's an amazing light and it's so bright. With the rechargeable batteries and the charger that gives charging status is great. I'm still experimenting with it but it's worth the extra cost I highly recommend it, also the strobe feature literally blinds a potential attacker as well.

I bought this flashlight for my son. He had the previous model but he lost it. I love this flashlight! I would like to get one for myself. It's bright and it's easy to use, and I love all the colors. Great flashlight!

I'm very impressed with this flashlight. Took  it out on a test run over Easter weekend out in the West Texas country. The beem was bright and far. Really like the dial feature and the new UV light (which came in handy watching out for scorpions).

5 of 5 A great light April 13, 2017
Reviewer: Rick from New Jersey (USA)
I own an SRT7 (the previous model) and the SRT7GT is definitely more powerful... it has a noticeably tighter and brighter hotspot and, as far as my eyes are able to determine, throws its beam noticeably farther as well. Interestingly, the hotspot and throw from my new SRT7GT is noticeably brighter than an 1800 Lumen Fenix flashlight that I own and matches the hotspot brightness of a 3000 Lumen light I have from Olight. I am slowly coming to the conclusion that Lumens may be the wrong unit of measure to determine the power of a flashlight... the candlepower maybe be the better measure. I am not sure if this is correct or not, but it seems Lumens is a measure of the overall light available whereas candlepower seems to be a measure of how concentrated all that light is within the beam that it is outputted in. I am happy to say that the SRT7GT with its 1000 Lumens, 50900 candlepower is probably the most powerful EDC light I own. Thanks Nitecore!
