OEM is the way to go. May 16, 2022 Reviewer: Dan Anderson from Golden, CO United States   I have been using my HC60 on my climbing helmet for that past two years. The sun and and the size of my helmet has damaged the elastic. I no longer climb, I am grateful that Nitecore offers replacement parts. Now my HC60 fits my head again and is ready to go back to work. Design needs a little update. February 17, 2022 Reviewer: don from AZ   This review also covers the headband that is used with my new HC65v2. New headbands have a new rubberized strip for the portion they assume will be against your skin around your forehead. First issue with new headbands is the placement of the entire adjustment section under the back 'T' section, making it hard to easily adjust. Moving it outside of this section resolves that issue. It just changes the placement of the rubber strip, but some still rides against your forehead. Second is the adjustment buckle on the horizontal band. It's on the inside of the band against your head, somewhat annoying. The top strap also came with the buckle against my head, but it was easily flipped over to fix that issue. The horizontal band with the new rubber strip keeps you from flipping the band over to get the buckle off your head. Please update your design or offer the headbands without the rubber strip. I understand these may work for some folks but not for me. Change your review character count. Was this review helpful to you?
